Some Legendary Live Music (I am a child of the nineties)

A very young ‘Green Day’ joined the 1994 Woodstock lineup and caught the public’s attention with the longest, muddiest set in history.  During the concert, a security guard mistook bassist Mike Dirnt for a stage-invading fan and punched out some of his teeth.  Viewed by millions via pay-per-view television, the show further aided Green Day’s growing publicity and recognition.  Damn I wish I hadn’t been in third grade…I also wish that Billie Joe Armstrong wouldn’t wear more mascara or hair gel than me. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who would like them to go back to their Gilman Street days. We could all use some 10/39 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours.
